This Saturday 6th October 2012 at 5pm, the Fram Autolite Dragway Volunteers meet at the Pukekohe Hot Rod Club clubrooms to set into motion plans for the track’s 40th Jubilee and the 2012/2013 Season.
The main purpose of the meeting, or agenda if you will, is as follows:
- Season Dates
- Changes to events and formats
- Confirm and allocate roles for all Volunteers
- Rosters
- Fun
For those of you who are unaware, the Track is predominantly run by a group of Volunteers who dedicate almost every summer weekend (outside of their day jobs) to assist with the running of Drag Racing and ensuring everyone has a good time in a safe environment. This group of people are the legs on which almost all Drag Racing events stand at Fram Autolite Dragway and without whom we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
So if you’re interested in becoming part of a fun team and would like to put something back into the sport, come along for some fun and we will find you a position on the team.
