This coming season, we celebrate our 40th
birthday. It was Easter 1973 that keen volunteers completed work on the permanent drag racing facility that we now know as Fram Autolite Dragway. Prior to this, drag racing was held at Ardmore, Kerr’s Road, Manurewa and Kopuku dating back to the late 60’s.
To mark this joyous ocassion, Meremere Dragway Inc would like to invite racers that raced at Meremere Dragway in the first 10 years from 1973 to 1983 to join in our celebrations for Meremere Dragways 40th Birthday.
The celebration will be held at the 45th New Zealand Nationals on Sunday 17th March 2013 and will include VIP entry with lunch, refreshments and hopefully some Guest Speakers.
