We are very sorry to inform all that the Winter Drag Wars event set for Sunday 28th July 2013 has been cancelled due to ongoing track reseal work.
The team from Fulton Hogan gathered today to review the work already completed and have deemed it not ready for black top. Fulton Hogan have the Highway Stabilizers coming back to sort it out with an aim to lay the black top week commencing 29th July 2013.
We’re thankful to Fulton Hogan, Hume Contractors, Ross Reid Construction and everyone that has helped out for all the work that has gone down so far and appreciate that they want to ensure a thorough and complete result.
Yes it means a longer wait before we can play on it but that’s drag racing…hurry up and wait. Please be reminded that there will be NO racing on Sunday 28th July 2013 as a result of this.
